Social Chess at The Curfew - Every Thursday!

Bath Chess Club is looking to build on the recent growth in interest in the game. In addition to the existing club activities (league teams, club competitions etc) we are starting a social chess evening that is open to everyone who might enjoy a game of chess (and maybe a pint). 

We will provide all the necessary equipment and have already secured a great venue, the Upstairs Lounge Room at the Curfew on Cleveland Place.

People turning up might buy drinks and snacks at the bar but there is no cost for the evenings activities (you don’t even need to be a member of the Chess club).

Our objective is to provide an informal introduction to club-style over the board chess in a social environment. Younger players are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

Club members are running the event and will be available to answer questions and maybe play a game or two! If we establish enough interest in the evenings we will organise specific events and competitions over the next few weeks. It’s a great opportunity to take your game to the next level!
